I have been here a couple of times and generally prefer having lunch here. The menu is expansive and well explained. We decided to try a 3 mushroom risotto and shepherds pie.
The 3 mushroom risotto was quite exquisite and most places I have been to get their risotto really wrong (soggy or too dry or too cheesy). However, the 3 mushroom risotto here was well balanced, the porcini mushroom oil flavoured the risotto quite well.

Moving on to one of my favorite dish the humble ‘shepherd’s pie’ with mashed potatoes and minced chicken, this is a perfect comfort food for anyone and everyone. The potato crust and filing was fresh and blended really well with balanced with minced chicken. To wash it down a couple of pints of Budweiser did really well.

I always love restaurants with booth style seating, the booths here are very comfortable (at least for 2 people) and offer good privacy.
Must try: Wood fired pizza, breakfast – shakshouka, grilled chicken burgers and lamb dishes.
