I love books. To the point that I always carry one with one. Book lovers can relate to the pleasure of buying new books and growing your mini-library at home. Book lovers can also relate to the feeling of buying hoards of books and sometimes not able to read them all! For the past two years, I have purchased more books that I can ever read in the next two years- and this in addition to the numerous libraries I’ve subscribed to. Sounds crazy; actually, no. We book lovers are like this only.
It’s been quite some time that I did my first beauty haul People often ask for recommendations and suggestions when it comes to make up, beauty and hair care. So here I am picking out my favourite products that I’ve been using for quite some time. Let me about your favourites too. The Body Shop Japanese Cherry Blossom Eau De Toilette I’ve always liked the fragrance of Cherry Blossom & recently The Body Shop graciously shared two bottles of the perfume with me. This eau de toilette has a fruity-floral scent that’s not too strong and yet not too mild. […]

Generally, I avoid using moisturisers. It usually makes my face sweat because of the product build up. No matter what they claim, the moisturisers never get absorbed into the skin and when I have my make up on, it creates a problem. After much deliberation & consideration- I tried the Clean & Clear oil free moisturiser as I felt my face was getting too dry and less nourishment. I’ve been using this product for over three weeks now and am happy to report the results. 🙂 During the monsoons, I generally skip using a moisturiser as a base to my […]
Indian Makeup Blogs When it comes to hair colour- the two main pressing points are the chemicals used in the product and the price of the product! Godrej Nupur has launched the new range of Coconut Henna Crème at an attractive price point of 39 INR per pack. The key natural ingredients are Coconut Oil and Henna. When it comes to hair care, these two ingredients have been used in India for eons! My parents have been colouring their hair for a few years now. So when the Godrej Nupur team sent the product for a trial- my mom keenly […]
Food bloggers in Mumbai are spoilt for choice. I must say. Especially when it comes to Chinese food. I was at Renaissance Mumbai hotel a few days back and I was told that Emperor’s Court- the hotel’s Chinese restaurant now served lunches as well. What caught my eye was that the lunches were reasonably priced! Starting from 1500 INR you could order unlimited portions of appetizer, soup, main course and the dessert. I try any cuisine or a dish, flavour is what’s most important to me. I’m not really finicky about novelty or presentation. My food should taste good and meet my […]

Maintaining curls ain’t easy. But it doesn’t mean it is impossible. I have previously shared some of my tips on how I maintain my curls and manage to style them using a few products! Many think that people with curly hair don’t need curling gels. That’s quite wrong! When curls get unmanageable, a good product can help you style the effortlessly. Question is which products should you use? I have reviewed a few products earlier. Do take a look! I recently had the chance to review Foxy Curls by Bed Head TIGI! Same products work differently on different people. Partly it’s […]
It’s a dull day. I’m not particularly interested in anything. I decide to play some songs to help me cheer up. And then Dil hain chota sa.. choti si aasha.. plays! Immediately I’m transported to a different world.. A. R. Rahman- the musical storm is nothing short of a magician. His works have touched millions and continue to mesmerise us everyday. I rarely read biographies- I prefer autobiographies. This book particularly interested me purely because I was curious to read about A. R. Rahman.
