Ladakh has always been on the “Places to Visit before I Die” list. I planned the trip when another plan didn’t take off as expected and within two weeks I had decided to visit Ladakh. What I had planned was a solo trip of solitude, tranquility, quietness and absolutely serenity. The need to connect with nature in all its true glory is important to me and it was time for me for a vacation. A break from the routine, the madness, the fatigue and all the chaos. What the trip turned out to be was more than what I had […]
We lead stressful lives. We stress about so many things; the important decisions in life and also the small nagging things in our daily lives. We need to hit pause; stop and stare at the roses to give ourselves some moment of consideration. We need to recharge our batteries. That’s why visiting a spa once in a while is essential. We need to relax our body, calm our minds and replenish our energies. Relaxing is considered as an indulgence of sorts. It is as vital as daily sleep. Why do we ignore our bodies and work ourselves to pain? With […]
We all love to pamper ourselves once in a while. A me only time at a spa not only helps us unwind but it also rejuvenates us. So when I was recently invited by Spa by JW, Sahar to review their summer specials, I was ecstatic to indulge myself in some spa goodness and I told myself that this is exactly what I need considering the back to back travel and hectic work life during the past few months.
Whenever I try a new restaurant, I am always curious to try out their dessert offerings. I always judge a restaurant by the quality of their desserts. The food could be average, but if their desserts are good, I’ll be back again to try out other desserts in their menu. Below I am featuring a few must try desserts that are unique in its own way. Enjoy reading and thank me later once you’ve indulged in a sweet affair.
A few months back, I was called to attend a event that commemorates 150 years of the iconic Singapore Sling. I’ve always been intrigued by the city but that event made me think about visiting the city soon. Maybe for my honeymoon? Well that’s at least what I thought. I read more about the city thanks to the press kit and I made a silent wish of visiting the city soon.
In my last blog post I wrote about my different food experiences. A rather unique one was the spiced hot chocolate from Krispy Kreme. I’ve always enjoyed the spice-sweet food combination and this post is just about that! Many think that sweet and spicy together isn’t palatable. However, I disagree with this notion. One of my favourite ketchup sauces is the hot sweet tomato chilli sauce after the regular tomato one. The hot sweet sauce adds the right amount of spice and has the perfect tanginess which makes any boring food interesting. I’m of the firm believer of “Everything tastes […]

Do you live to eat or eat to live? I belong to the first category. Each meal is precious. Every experience with food is to be cherished. Some of my best memories in life are associated with food! That’s how much I love food. Every time I travel to a new place the first item on my to-do list is to try out their cuisine. Every new restaurant or eatery that opens up, I try looking for something ‘hatke’ When Krispy Kreme opened in India, a few friends and I decided to drive down to Powai post 12AM to try […]
It’s been exactly a month since my engagement. It was a very small function with just close relatives. The ceremony was nothing elaborate but just a simple exchange of rings. I’ve received a lot of requests to share details of my outfit and make up on my blog. Hence, this post- detailing out my look.
