Whenever I try a new restaurant, I am always curious to try out their dessert offerings. I always judge a restaurant by the quality of their desserts. The food could be average, but if their desserts are good, I’ll be back again to try out other desserts in their menu. Below I am featuring a few must try desserts that are unique in its own way. Enjoy reading and thank me later once you’ve indulged in a sweet affair.
A few months back, I was called to attend a event that commemorates 150 years of the iconic Singapore Sling. I’ve always been intrigued by the city but that event made me think about visiting the city soon. Maybe for my honeymoon? Well that’s at least what I thought. I read more about the city thanks to the press kit and I made a silent wish of visiting the city soon.
In my last blog post I wrote about my different food experiences. A rather unique one was the spiced hot chocolate from Krispy Kreme. I’ve always enjoyed the spice-sweet food combination and this post is just about that! Many think that sweet and spicy together isn’t palatable. However, I disagree with this notion. One of my favourite ketchup sauces is the hot sweet tomato chilli sauce after the regular tomato one. The hot sweet sauce adds the right amount of spice and has the perfect tanginess which makes any boring food interesting. I’m of the firm believer of “Everything tastes […]

Do you live to eat or eat to live? I belong to the first category. Each meal is precious. Every experience with food is to be cherished. Some of my best memories in life are associated with food! That’s how much I love food. Every time I travel to a new place the first item on my to-do list is to try out their cuisine. Every new restaurant or eatery that opens up, I try looking for something ‘hatke’ When Krispy Kreme opened in India, a few friends and I decided to drive down to Powai post 12AM to try […]

For days, I’ve been thinking about how to write this announcement post. How will I break this news? Will it be too much of a social media share? Though I am extremely active on social media, I haven’t announced anything about my marriage plans or decisions. So here it is, I’m getting married this year! 😀
I have always loved Chinese ever since I was introduced to the cuisine as a kid. Chinese food was prepared at home as a treat to us- the kids. The love for Chinese food never diminished. The Chinese food that was introduced in the 90s was merely an Indian version. The chinese food that we have known has developed. It’s more of “Pan-Asian” cuisine. As Vir Sanghvi says “Classifying a cuisine as Chinese is pretty complicated. Often it may not refer to a chef or a dish from the mainland at all.” So, this New Year’s eve when I decided to […]
