It’s been quite some time that I did my first beauty haul
People often ask for recommendations and suggestions when it comes to make up, beauty and hair care. So here I am picking out my favourite products that I’ve been using for quite some time. Let me about your favourites too.
The Body Shop Japanese Cherry Blossom Eau De Toilette
I’ve always liked the fragrance of Cherry Blossom & recently The Body Shop graciously shared two bottles of the perfume with me. This eau de toilette has a fruity-floral scent that’s not too strong and yet not too mild. To make the fragrance last longer, I spray the perfume on my elbows, behind the ear, wrists , behind the knees and clothes. Every two-three hours I re-apply the perfume on my wrists. The fragrance has a romantic feel to it and am currently addicted to this!
The Body Shop Strawberry Puree Body Lotion
I’ve mentioned in one of my earlier posts about how the strawberry range is an absolute favourite and an indispensable product in my kitty. The body butter can be a little think on the skin, but the puree body lotion gets absorbed into the skin very easily. The packaging is travel friendly as well. I’ve re-purchased this product more than twice!
The Body Shop Satsuma body polish
Body Polishes needn’t be used every day as it exfoliates the skin. Excess exfoliation can rob the skin of its moisture. The body polish refreshes the skin and can turn a dull day into a refreshing one almost instantly
Himalaya Anti Hair Fall & Olique Anti Hair Fall & Anti Dandruff Hair Oil
I used to swear only by the Himalaya Anti-Hair Fall Oil but after using the Olique hair oil, I have changed my loyalties. Both the products work very well on my curly hair and have almost never disappointed me.
Schwarzkopf BC repair rescue Shampoo, Conditioner & Masque
It’s been more than a year and no other hair care range has come even close to this range. Though they are a little expensive- it’s worth the investment.
Depending on what I feel like, I try the BBlunt Climate Control, Moisture Kick or TIGI Bed Head Control Freak
All these products help me in styling my hair the way I want- tight curly, loose curls, wavy or just let my hair the way it is.
Vichy Normaderm Facewash
This product has done wonders on my skin. It unclogs pores and leaves my skin looking supple and radiant. The 100 ml tube costs 490 INR. I am already on the third tube now and have suggested it to almost everyone who asks for face-wash recommendations.
Vichy Face cream
I rarely use face creams. Because most of them clogs my skin and makes it sweat wearing it down. The Vichy Aqualia Thermal Light is light and the skin absorbs the product very quickly. The product is priced at 1350 INR for 50ml
Foundations are notorious for how cakey and heavy they feel on the skin. This newly launched Nearly Naked Foundation is perfect and stays on the skin throughout the day. At the bloggers’ event where they launched the products, I was told to mix two shades-fair and medium deep.
I usually use the Lakme Eyeconic kajal on the waterline. Use a generous line of the L’Oreal Paris Super Gel Liner 24H and top it up with the Color Riche Eye Pencil in Electric blue. The pencil lasts for months and is reasonably priced at 350 INR. I use the Oriflame the ONE mascara
My love for L’Oreal Paris Lipsticks is not a secret. Apart from their numerous other lipsticks, I’m currently addicted to their Pure Reds range.
Until early this year, I almost never used any lip glosses as I never liked their texture. Most products had a weird fragrance and taste as well.
I’ve been loyal to Lip Lover for the past several months and all the four shades suit my complexion very well!
